my 2015

2015 has been a year full of lessons..

I

- learned Croatian (and some Serbian words), some Albanian, doubled my known words in Hungarian (now about 8 :D), learned some Arabic and each three words Persian and Turkish

- got to know a lot of people from Turkey, Croatia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Syria, Austria, Finnland and Italy

- lost some of them as friends again but am still in contact with the best ones :-)

- met some "old" friends again :-)

- started again speaking English and Slovenian and could remember and understand Italian

- learned a lot about German language

 

- travelled to Berlin, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Stuttgart, Zadar, Budapest, Bologna, Umag, Belgrade and Vienna

- learned to trust entirely and also lost the faith in people

- learned a lot about religions (noticed for the first time in my life the time of Ramadan with Eid al-Fitr and the Eid al-Adha) and other cultures

- despaired because of Austrian bureaucracy

- was running two 10 km-races without training

- started four kinds of volunteer jobs (still doing two of them) and one professional one

- managed to buy a bus ticket from Graz to Belgrade (if you think that's nothing special just try yourself :D )

- started to be interested in politics and now can't understand anymore what's all going wrong in the world and especially in Europe

- was sewing for the first time on a professional sewing machine
